It starts very easy (also for small children) until a nice Picnic/Swimming area after 10-15 minutes, becomes a little harder (maybe you have to carry small children ;-) for the next 20 min or so. After that begins "The Elevation" and climbs up into the "Hardings Park" ("big" loop with "Toe Toe Flat") and the "Platinum Mines" (optional small loop with several entrances to the mines, torch needed). You have to return the Elevation part.
A lot of bush and some nice views over the valley and hills around.
You can get a nice flyer at the PN Visitor Center containing a map and some background informations about the track (who, when, where). The track is very well marked and you do not need any additional maps.
Take long pants with you (theres some grass on the big loop that "bits" a little bit, not a big problem, just for convinience *g*).
