Inserting photo into a thread ?.
Can we insert a non-internet photo into a forum thread ?.
How can I insert a photo stored on my computer, direct off the camera, into a forum 'message' please ?.
I don't believe so, no.
You have to upload it to a personal website or google pics etc then link to it.
Photos take up a lot of space on Matthews server but at the same time photos go missing from external sources. Not sure which is best

Thanks both. Google Pics link & GP link + adding the letters 'jpg' didn't do it.
ALTHOUGH ! ... You can click on the link & see the picture from a 'shared' GP album.

Yeah - google photos does not give you a link to the photo. It gives you a link to a page containing the photo. There's all sorts of handshaking going on before your browser gets to download the image itself - don't think you can just point direct at the image file.
True dat. Then I was a little concerned about how much of a gateway that might be to the rest of the computer. Can't check that from your own CPU.
